San Antonio was still in the glow of what happened the previous Saturday there was talk of what was to happen at San Fernando Gym at Randy's so it worked both ways. Amateur boxers competed and www.staba.org continued operating in the style of its president high and tight. The bad news gets the headlines stories of what happened at San Fernando gym Saturday afternoon will not you had a group of volunteers acting in a professional manner. You had coaches making good calls and you had sportsmanship/sportswomanship prevailing. In short it was like a scouting event, a civil air patrol event or a high school sports event.
The first bout like many that day tested the skills of the judges with its competiveness Alberto Lopez won it. 166lb weight class
Jonathan Rangel won his bout in the 78lb JO division
Anthony Gonzales won his bout JO 91lbs
Chris Ortiz representing Bully Unit boxing won his bout by RSC round 2. The bout was not without its bombs and definitely not without its strategy.
An aggressive Celeste Gonzales won her bout in the 136lb weight division JO.
Eric Guajardo forced it and won his bout in the 170lb weight division
Guillermo Guiterrez won his bout in the 62lb weight class
It was a close one but Marcelino J Guiterrez won it in the 138lb weight division
