Salvation Army Gym Plays Host For Other Side of San Antonio and corridor Boxing report and photos Esteban Erik Stipnieks do not repost without permission!

Professional amateur male and female poles apart.  San Antonio boxing fans had multiple helpings of great action Saturday and this morning probably feels like a hang over.  Due to the fact I am one person not two I could not be at Salvation Army Gym for all the action.  But some some bouts were compelling and worth the stress to double time.  It was the female prospects that were worthy of attention.  Krystal v Akemi (JO) Janelle Leal trying to comeback from losing streak and then the battle of Queen bee status of That is not to say male boxers did not do their part.  Since the show was sponsored and put on by Fast Katz the Roosevelt Rough Riders Army JROTC provided two members for a Color Guard during national Anthem.  Also we got to see former boxer Gilbert Elizondo coaching with Calderon.

Mark Caloy had to do double duty as well occupying the role of president of staba watching the event for a good portion then judging the fights at La Villitia.  Representatives from Randazzo, Fight Factory, and Angels boxing did the same.
