USAF BOXING Trains for Competition in Good Ol San Antonio
What if San Antonio were the home of a team representing a whole branch of the Armed Forces to face off in national competition and nobody noticed? Well this whole week in San Antonio a team is training and the trials for this team happened with sparse attendance. It happened the stories are related to it on my site.
Now when I was there to run a story I was frozen a moment surprised.
I should have known better but it was a surprise. The difference between
civilian boxing and the USAF boxing team training were stark. No tunes
rattling in the background. There was order and focus with an intensity
that could be felt. There was an overwhelming sense of team. The
USAF were training the Armed Forces Boxing Championships.
